This whole house remodel in SE Portland appeared on the 9th Annual Home Builder's Association's 2008 TOUR OF REMODELED HOMES. It was a 'to the studs' remodel with all new electrical, mechanical and plumbing. A new porch increases curb appeal. The basement was hand dug for future use, and there were 2 additions - one on the main floor to accommodate a new laundry room and pantry, and a shed dormer in the master bath that doubled the space for a spa like retreat. This home features slab granite, and period details and fixtures mixed with modern amenities. This remodel and FB&R were featured on 2 separate live interviews on KGW NW News Channel 8.
